For when they think Luis Suarez and debate go hand in hand a or should that be arm in mouth? a' thatas nothing compared with Everton and three factors when Fulham are in town. Not since 1959 have the Cottagers left Goodison with a good single point. After yesterday, yesteryear 20 group sessions have ended in defeat. It's the worst run of results ANY top-flight group has against yet another. So if David Moyes was going to mark his 50th birthday with a game title against anyone, he couldn't have hand-picked better opponents. EVERTON chef David Moyes insists his side may get a handle on their very own Euro-spot fate after 1-0 make an impression on Fulham Don't be confused by the area of the scoreline often. There might have now been Just a goal between them but, for long periods, they certainly were leagues apart. And because of Steven Pienaar remembering his or her own small milestone a 150 Premier League activities for the Blues a' with the champion, Moyesa European dream continues to be Beingshown to people there. The Goodison gaffer, who brought up his individual half-century on Thursday, had his language to date in his cheek it absolutely was a wonder he could get the language out when he said: aOh, aye, Iall be having a celebration a' a genuine Scottish rave with no English there!a But he was as serious being an separate biting hearing when he admitted: aWe still have the opportunity of Europe but weall probably have to get our last three games. COTTAGERS manager admits his side were not at the races in 1-0 defeat to Everton at Craven Cottage aEven then, if the groups above us keep earning there wonat be described as a lot we can do. aAll we may do is gain our fits and trust the others slip up a' but we've already crushed last yearas full with this particular one today.a To tell the truth, it absolutely was a shock Everton weren't out of sight by half-time, so dominant were they and so tired their opponents. It took them only 15 minutes to locate a way through and, even though complete It self was easy enough, the build-up would have adorned any sport. Leon Osman was involved twice, playing a clever one-two with Kevin Mirallas before acquiring Seamus Coleman, and Pienaar was on hand to sweep in his combination at the far post. Moyes had insisted the South Africanas displays had dipped a little of late. If it was meant to initiate him in to action, it certainly had the required Result. TASTY PIE... Steven Pienaar slots in for Everton His director admitted: aSteven knitted us together and obtained an excellent goal. aIt was a delicate move, an excellent end and it will do him the world of good.a Pienaar was absolutely top drawer against Fulham, mixing beautifully down the left with Leighton Baines throughout. His understanding with Mirallas a' who gave still another perfect effectiveness a' is also developing so effectively there's plenty to be optimistic about on the blue Half Merseyside. Two fantastic Pienaar-Baines combinations put up Marouane Fellaini but his first work flashed broad and the next struck team-mate Victor Anichebe, preventing it from sneaking in the post. Fulham would have worked up a better sweat in a warm-down than they did for the reason that first half when, seriously, they were abysmal. ON THE MARK... Steven Pienaar slots previous Mark Schwarzer Their one touch of a danger came when Kieran Richardson drilled a combination in front of goal but just too much for Mladen Petric, on after 30 minutes when Dimitar Berbatov took a leg muscle. And Urby Emanuelson had much more time and space than he noticed when significant Broad Alex Kacaniklicas pull-back. At the other end rookie Ross Barkley was denied an amazing solo work only by the diving Mark Schwarzer, who also reacted effectively to beat away a Mirallas volley. When he met a superb and the unmarked Fellaini needs to have finished any doubts Heavy mix from Baines, only to grow his angled volley into the ground and over. MIRALL BOOST... Kevin Mirallas gets the better of Alex Kacaniklic Not that you truly ever expected that to have any bearing on the result. Also Martin Jol knew that. The Fulham chief said: aIt was only 1-0 and, with a little of luck, we will have got a point. On the other hand, they might have had several targets. aIf your home form is very good you are able to live with that absent form a' but we've lost in the same way many there as well.a BERB YOUR ENTHUSIASM... PREMIER LEAGUE LIVE: Follow Sunday's action from around the grounds - Daily Mail
Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Barclays Premier League as Reading host QPR in one of three games to conclude the weekend's action.
If either side lose at the Madejski Stadium they will be relegated to the Championship for next season, while a draw would condemn both teams to playing in the second tier next term.
Kicking off at 3pm, Chelsea will aim to keep up their bid of reaching next season's Champions League when they host Swansea, while the day's action ends at the Emirates Stadium when Arsenal, also aiming to finish in the top four, welcome newly crowned champions Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium.
There have been 25 first-half goals in the PL at the Madejski Stadium this season. There has only been more scored at Old Trafford and the DW Stadium (both 28).
13.53: A first attack in a while for Reading as they win a free-kick on the very corner of the penalty box, but the delivery hits the top of the QPR wall and the visitors clear.
13.50: Chance for QPR! Jay Bothroyd lifts the ball over an advancing McCarthy on the edge of the box, but the ball just bounces wide of the post. A Reading defender looked like he had it covered though as he chased back.
13.49: QPR continue to edge this encounter, even if McCarthy still hasn't had a save to make. This time, Stephane Mbia crosses into the box for Remy but again it's just too far in front of the striker.
13.46: Good stuff from QPR now as Taarabt's chipped through ball for Loic Remy has just too much power on it as Reading keeper Alex McCarthy collects.
13.43: It's over the bar again for QPR but this was mighty close to opening the scoring! Jem Karacan brought down Adel Tarrabet on the edge of the box, with Esteban Granero's free-kick shaving the crossbar as it glided over the top corner.
13.40: QPR now go on the attack but they too fire way over the bar with their first effort courtesy of Jermaine Jenas.
13.38: Pavel Pogrebnyak gives away a free-kick after raising a high foot to Nedum Onuhoa's face, but the Russian striker clearly tried to play the ball so no further action is taken.
13.35: Cracking free-kick from Reading's Danny Guthrie, whose out-swinging free-kick into the six-yard box evades everyone with Sean Morrison just missing out with a slide at the far post.
13.34: An encouraging start with both teams keen to attack. Jose Bosingwa gives the ball straight to Nick Blackman, but after running at the defence, the Reading forward blasts a shot way over the crossbar.
13.27: Out come the players on to the pitch, there are still a few empty seats around the ground. The fans may not believe their teams can stay up but hopefully that means the pressure is off and we can see two sides playing without caution this afternoon.
13.19: Reading looked in good shape to stay up at the start of February but nine defeats from 10 games in all competitions has completely decimated their chances of booking successive seasons in the top flight - it's a run that has included the sacking of Brian McDermott as manager.
13.14: The players are warming up at the Madejski Stadium in front of a slowly filling up crowd. The winners would be given a brief stay of execution but make no mistake, not even the most optimistic of supporters expect either of these to stay up come May.
Reading v QPRReading: McCarthy, Gunter, Mariappa, Morrison, Kelly, McCleary, Karacan, Guthrie, McAnuff, Pogrebnyak, Blackman. Subs: Taylor, Pearce, Le Fondre, Hunt, Robson-Kanu, Harte, Carrico.
QPR: Green, Bosingwa, Hill, Onuoha, Traore, Jenas, Granero, Mbia, Taarabt, Remy, Bothroyd. Subs: Julio Cesar, Derry, Park, Mackie, Da Silva, Ben Haim, Hoilett.
Armand Traore, Nedum Onuoha, Jermaine Jenas, Esteban Granero and Jay Bothroyd all come in while Christopher Samba misses out on the squad altogether.
Reading remain unchanged from the side that lost 2-1 at Norwich. Defeat for either side would condemn the losers to the npower Championship, while a draw would consign both to the drop today.
Even victory may only provide a temporary reprieve, with a victory for Aston Villa over Sunderland tomorrow night condemning today's Madejski Stadium victors to relegation as well.
12.59: Some essential reading with just over 30 minutes until kick-off as Mail on Sunday's Gary Neville speaks on how Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United team will look to replicate the German thrillers after mid-week's extraordinary Champions League action.
12.53: But will Van Persie even start against Arsenal this afternoon? In theory he should, there's a Premier League rule somewhere regarding not fielding your strongest possible line-up - just ask Mick McCarthy and Wolves about that.
12.50: And of course that guard of honour will coincide with Robin van Persie's first return to the Emirates Stadium since leaving for Manchester United in a £24m deal last summer.
12.47: Of course it isn't just winner survives (for a day or two at least) at the Madejski Stadium. We have a couple of crackers today as Chelsea host Swansea at 3pm and Arsenal give Manchester United a guard of honour an hour later - so stick around for what should be an entertaining afternoon.
5 - There have been five red cards in the last five league meetings between Queens Park Rangers and Reading. Pressure.
12.35: With 18th placed Wigan still to play 17th placed Aston Villa - one of those teams is guaranteed to get 35 points. A draw today would mean QPR and Reading could only get 34 and is the reason why both could go down this afternoon.
12.30: For weeks it has seemed a formality that QPR and Reading will be relegated, but today it can become official.
It's often a mis-used phrase with no real consequence, but today really is a must-win game as at least one of these sides will have their Championship status for next season rubber stamped this afternoon - it may be both. Team news on the way.

Has Stephen Curry Proved He's a Top-5 Level Guard?
How many people out there had an idea that Golden State WarriorsApoint guard Stephen Curry would be this good this right after the Warriors picked Curry with the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA draft? Curry was selected after James Harden, Tyreke Evans, Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn, and four years later the sole person the type of mentioned who've enjoyed exactly the same degree of professional achievement is Harden. Once the Warriors picked Curry, many professionals could not see beyond his feathery jump shot. Inspite of the quickest release in recent memory, few felt that he would manage to constantly get that shot down against NBA-level expertise. To be fair, can those critics be blamed for failing to know very well what type of expertise Curry certainly was considering his way to the NBA? Curry wasn't on several significant university radars following his senior year at Charlotte Christian School in Charlotte, NC notwithstanding his outrageous shooting talent, that was evident early. In fact, even though Charlotte sits in the heart of ACC nation the only school in that meeting that even agreed to provide Curry a look was Virginia Tech, and that was only since his father Dell was a former player. It was abundantly clear at the time that Curry had inherited his father's leap shot, but that still was not enough to tell Virginia Tech to offer him a grant. The Currys chose to drop Dell's alma mater's offer to walk-on as a freshman,Aand as an alternative Stephen enrolled at small Davidson, just outside Charlotte. The others is history. Curry was constantly among the top scorers in college basketball during his time at Davidson, and despite leadingAa function in the 2007 NCAA tournament that ended just lacking the Final Four, and a move to point guard during his final season in college nobody thought he could make the in an identical way at the next stage. Not merely has Curry proved his doubters wrong, but now you will find serious questions regarding if he keeps improving how good the 25-year-old experience may be. CurryAhas already attached on more three-pointers than any player in one single period. He did it in 61 fewer attempts than Ray Allen, and his 45 percent shooting portion from long range shows he did it more proficiently. Nevertheless, everyone already knew Curry can shoot, it's the other areas of his game that deserve attention. Curry's different talents, such as for example his clean grips and judge vision, are easy to ignore when Curry is raining down threes often over numerous defenders, but these are the facets of his game which have raised him to elite status. Joe Paul, Tony Parker and Deron Williams are usually considered the very best point pads still playing at this point, and statistically Curry has out-performed each one of them in the postseason, and it's not even close. Curry is the only 1 averaging double-digit aids because class, and his 26 points per game is four significantly more than Parker's 22 per game. And it's nothing like Curry has theAbenefit of a Griffin, Tim Duncan or Brook Lopez in the color possibly. Their top big man was lost by the Warriors David Lee for the rest of the postseason within their Game 1 reduction contrary to the Denver Nuggets, and Golden State hasn't lost since. Everyone in the area knows that when you power down Curry you kill the Warriors' time, but how precisely does a challenger do it? He passes to an extensive open teammate and only pushes around you if you elect to group Curry on the perimeter, or he releases a life-threatening variety of delicate floaters in the street. Doubling Curry can be tryed by you early but that leaves him a variety of passing lanes, or in the most annoying instance he just shoots over any number of defenders an opposition directs at him. In my opinion the meaning of an elite player is one who defies he to be stopped by any game plan, and we can safely say that Curry occupies that room, despite having an injured ankle. A lot of people will still be reluctant to add Curry in a type of elite cause guards that features Paul, Williams, Parker and the injured Rajon Rondo and Derrick Rose, in reality he's already there. Each of these players has a feature that sets them apart from the area like Paul's experience for a predicament or Williams' strength or Parker's speed, and Curry has that same talent along with his shooting ability. Nevertheless, none of those players can be identified with a simple ability and neither can Curry. Whether Curry is just a top-five player at his place is a highly subjective question, but what does it mean whenever you add in the proven fact that he is performing at a greater level than every one of the point guards placed above him?

Jets Pick Geno Smith, Are Now Infested With Quarterbacks
They took heat for playing Mark Sanchez. They took heat for not playing Tim Tebow. So now Rex Ryan is going to fix the Jets' quarterback problem in straightforward fashion: he's going to throw dozens of them against the wall and see if one sticks.
Actually Ryan only has six quarterbacks on the roster right now. But that's still a lot. New York drafted Geno Smith today with the 39th pick in the second round of the NFL Draft, and their QB depth chart now looks something like this:
Expect Smith to rise dramatically the minute he steps onto the practice field. Expect Sanchez, who will make $8.25 million this season (or $82.5 million, according to USA Today) to be the opening-week starter, because he who ruins the salary cap, gets to start. Otherwise, it's the Hunger Games at Jets camp.

Child wonder: Robin van Persie reveals profitable subject with Manchester United... - Mirror.co.uk
PLUS: Dutch striker doesn't know if feelings can get the higher of him on return to Arsenal as success Kent Gavin Robin Van Persieas final sporting dreams are finally coming true. The little boy inside him continues to be delighted at being section of the staff that has seen Manchester United crowned as English champions for the 20th time. The 29-year-old Dutchman Aexplained: aI was having lunch last week with Rio Ferdinand when four 10 year-olds from our Academy came in. aThey had good United tracksuits on. They looked curiously across the place. I said to Rio, in a decade time those kids is going to be playing in the initial team. aNow, at their age, they donat have any concerns or tension however. aI also told Rio that at that age I'd the time of my life. It probably was the most wonderful time as a Afootballer. Every day I used to walk round in a track suit. Teachers or football boots were the only things Iad use on my feet. aAll day at school, after school, on the road, at the club, at PE. Tired? I was never tired. It is incredible that as a youngster you donat feel aches and pains.a Previous timers: Van Persie and Ferdinand are seeing the following generation at United Julian Finney Van Persie explains this is the reason why he liked his time as the little boy deeply in love with baseball a lot more than Aanything. All he required was a ball, his boots and the street or a game at the club. On He'll walk out at the Emirates within the title-winning Red Devils group wednesday. It will be his first Areturn to Arsenal since his controversial A24million move to Old Trafford last summer. He'll feel vindicated at finally becoming a champion after ten years of near misses with the Gunners. Van Persie says he still doesn't discover how he will react to Sundayas mental trip. He said: aI really donat know what to accomplish on Sunday. aI Understand that I had chose to Acelebrate a goal against Arsenal in a really peaceful way Aearlier in 2013 at Old Trafford. That went kind of ok. aBut I canat often foresee what will happen. Sometimes emotions obtain the Abetter of me. But then again, what I find more beautiful compared to the true tournament may be the way towards winning it. It's one major process.aa Van Persie, who might have despatched the goal of the season in last Mondayas title-clinching conquer Aston Villa, admits there have been instances when his group haven't been in wonderful kind. He explained: aWe played Stoke City absent. The wind gusting in from three gaps involving the stands was ferocious. Each of their people are 6 feet plus. On days like that, I understand that it's likely to be only a difficult battle. And thatas what I loved about United this year, every person is willing to struggle. Shock have a winning attitude here. I enjoy that. We only have to look at each other on the frequency and we understand that we trust each other. Homecoming: Van Persie knows it'll be psychological on come back to Emirates aI have the best work on earth. Football can be played by me each day. I could see myself carrying on such as this for a long time. I was previously addicted to Diego Maradonaas movies. aI also liked watching moves and turns by Johan Cruyff. Some Asportsmen like watching films of Rocky, I was once mad about those videos. I saw the techniques of Maradona and Cruyff as art. I was all set and burst on the message, after I'd watched certainly one of their movies. aI built blunders when I was young. Then I joined Arsenal and met participants like Bergkamp, Henry, Pires and Arsene Wenger. Great Apeople. They all wanted to help me. aEven at Arsenal I could get Aimpatient. I wished to go and hit on the manageras office door and why I was not playing ask him. aDennis (Bergkamp) said: aDonat! It might work like this in Holland, however, not here. This is England.a aSo I said, ok, I'll wait and keep my mouth shut for a bit. AI Aappreciated he told me to have patience. I do the same now with young people. I really like talking to the Academy lads at the club today. I know how they feel, I know why they feel like they do.a Thereas a fresh Adimension to Van Persieas life. His six year-old child Shaqueel has Aalready asked his father if he can remain more than just three to four years at United. It made the United striker smile. And it reminded him again in regards to the little boy he once was himself. Meanwhile, Alex Ferguson will not eliminate shift for Robert Lewandowski.
