Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who has been related to Arsenal and Manchester United, has dismissed talk of a summer move away from the Stadium of Light. Mignolet is thought to be completed on Wearside and still has couple of years left to work on his agreement at the Stadium of Light, but his representative on Wednesday was quoted as saying that the 24-year-old was keen on a proceed to a larger clubA( see Related Articles). Mignolet, but, has moved to refute the suggestion that he is looking to leave Sunderland. "I thought I desired to talk to the club's fans following the press reaction to remarks created by my consultant, which I believe were removed from context and not just a accurate reflection," he told the club'sAofficial website. "Of course, my desire would be to restore the main spot with my national group, but I believe I could do this with Sunderland. "I was playing as Belgium's number 1 this past year and hopefully that can be the case in the near future. "I am happy at Sunderland - a team I'm happy to represent. I will carry on focusing on my baseball, you start with Saturday's game against Fulham."
