It's safe to say the Knicks made the right choice if they opted to cover Felton about $4 million annually over a four-year offer in place of matching the Houston Rockets' poison-pill supply for Jeremy Lin. Felton has averaged 17.3 points and five assists per game over New York's seven playoff challenges so far, but his worth scarcely comes through in these basic numbers. A further look reveals the Knicks have submitted an unpleasant ranking of 98.8 when he's been on to the floor against an amount of 97.3 when he has not. Together of the only players on the list effective at creating opportunities for his teammates, Felton presents a critical piece of the Knicks' unpleasant puzzle. When he's working in the pick-and-roll or operating by having an eye toward kicking out to shooters, Ny is a dangerous bad team. However, instructor Mike Woodson has been choosing a heavy dose of solitude models lately, which has decreased some of Felton's efficiency. They will have to produce Felton, who makes significantly less than five other players on the roster, much more of a focus, if the Knicks are to have any hope of surviving their line with the Indiana Pacers.
