Leicester Town vs Watford, Championship Playoff Semi-Final initially Leg: Open Thread.

The first match with the 2012-13 Championship playoffs begins today with Leicester City hosting Watford within the first leg. The Hornets, maintained by Gianfranco Zola, will want to forget about their shocking day against Leeds Usa last Saturday where people threw away a golden chance be promoted to a Premier League. Now Watford has to do it all over again, this time against some Leicester City side which were managed by Nigel Pearson.

First leg semi-finals is a rather testy affair, so I'm not thinking a flurry of goals in the future in. But having proclaimed that, Leicester will want to benefit from their home-field advantage looking at their own supporters.

The winner in the semi-final, over two legs, will play in this Championship playoff final for Wembley later this 30 days. The victor of that game will likely then be promoted to this Premier League.

Leicester getting into XI: Schmeichel; De Laet, Morgan (c), Keane, Schlupp; Knockaert, Fred, King, Dyer; Wood, Nugent

Watford beginning XI: Almunia (GK) (c); Doyley, Ekstrand, Cassetti; Anya, Abdi, Chalobah, Hogg, Pudil; Geijo, Vydra.
