Johnson's foot feels better before Game 3 versus Bulls

Detroit (AP) a Brooklyn guard Joe Johnson's base is feeling better, and that's about all he was ready to say about his status for Game 3 of the Nets' playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. Brown hurt his left foot in the initial quarter of the Bulls' 90-82 win Monday. He remains a game-time choice with the series moving to the United Focus on Thursday evening. "I feel only a little much better than I did yesterday," Johnson said while sitting on the scorers' table ahead of the Nets' shootaround. Brown was received in a business with Atlanta last summer and averaged 16.3 details in his first period with the Nets. He had 17 points on 6-of-18 firing in 39 minutes in Game 2. Johnson's absence would leave Brooklyn without one of its most reliable scorers from the defensive-minded Bulls. "We need Joe available, you know," position guard Deron Williams said. "I mean, he's a huge element of this group. Added scorer out there that we need on the ground, requires dual groups when he's out there, so we need him, we need him healthier. "That being said, we do not understand how he's feeling." Brown missed several games during the regular season with a heel injury. He remained on the sideline at the start of the Nets' shootaround, and was unsure simply how much he would take part in the day session. "Honestly, I do not even know. I actually do not even understand what the program is," he explained. "So I'm only going to continue the floor." Interim coach P.J. Carlesimo declined to provide any details. Asked in regards to the program for Johnson for your day, Carlesimo responded: "We'll see if he can play. If he can play, he will play".
