With Manchester United pulled out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 and in the FA Cup quarterfinals, expect a lot of activity from the Red Devils over the summer exchange screen. They will probably have won the Premier League, but with an unhealthy showing in Europe, United will be desperate to boost their team and build on their weaknesses for the near futurea'starting with some potential movers in and out of the club at the end of the year. Nevertheless, one go that they will perhaps not be thinking about trying to make is that of Angel Di Maria, whom United have already been linked to recently via Charles Perrin of The Express: Manchester United are still in the shape to indication Angel Di Maria in the summer.ADi Maria's future at Real Madrid has been the topic of much conjecture, as he has frustrated his director Jose Mourinho with his wavering shows. UnitedAand Paris Saint Germain are both competing for his signature while they look to strengthen their respective squads.AReports in Spain indicate that the two aforementioned clubs are the only two outfits more likely to lodge a for Di Maria. True president Florentino Perez is open to letting Di Maria leave... Whilst there's little doubting the skill of Di Maria and how good he can be at his best, the reality that Manchester United follow the Argentinian over the transfer screen is very low. And if there attention, it requires to be totally eliminated for the sake of the existing Red Devils team. United have a number of crucial targeting players and, more importantly, have an array of options out wide on the wings that they have used throughout the year. And while having detail becomes necessary, adding in still another winger isn't going to help such a thing for United. Jordan Regan/Getty Pictures The Red Devils are already struggling to industry every player that they would like to at the momenta'adding in yet another player only isn't planning to help that at all. Fred Rooney has been dropped back again to more of an approaching main midfielder part this year, which has led to new signing Shinji Kagawa playing more from the left flank. That, subsequently, has meant that the loves of Ashley Young, Nani and Antonio Valencia have now been forced to replace wings right through the period and hasn't provided United a good deal of persistence. And that is without thinking about the other people who have featured on the wings for the Red Devils this season, as WhoScored.com shows below: Attracting yet another wingerA( just like he may be) might only be madness for United, and it is something which they need to avoid this summer. Especially given simply how much they'd need to give up to get Di Maria. The Argentinian-international is listed as a A35 million goal based on Transfermarkt, and would certainly see that rise given how important he is to Madrid and the success that they have had throughout Spanish and European competitions in 2013. Di Maria's power to lower in from the right flank, or attack it to be byline, and help Los Blancos' attack is a must to the way in which that they play. Given just how he and Ronaldo switch wings as well, you might almost make the argument he is a simple part of their attack. Alex Livesey/Getty Photographs Madrid aren't going to want to let that go, and if they are, they most certainly aren't going to want to let it go for cheap this summer, when they'll be eager to get back the Manhunter Liga concept from Barcelona. Thus United may have to spend big in order to get him, and given the ability they already have out broad, it's difficult to see that happening. And like we have said, if there is true interest, then it's a thing that the Red Devils need to think very seriously about heading in to the new year. They spentAA24 million to bring in Robin van Persie, but perhaps that was a big call for a person with the established track record that Van Persie has in the EPL. To spendAA35-40 million then on a man who has yet to take action in the English game seems only insane and should not occur. Specially given the wingers that United curently have on hand.
