Before Tottenham hotspur host Manchester City on the 21st April, Arsenal have three Premier League fixtures that could put them seven points clear of their North London rivals.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur fans perhaps know better than most how fickle a blessing a game in hand can be, with Spurs in particular demonstrating a prowess of talking up their extra fixture before ultimately failing to win it over recent seasons.
Arsenal have done well then to maintain and then close the gap on Spurs in recent weeks despite losing at White Hart Lane, and now will now play their extra match as part of a run of three games where they can perhaps establish a decisive advantage in the race for a Champions League place.
