West Bromwich Albion chef Steve Clarke talks about his stable key defenders Bob Clarke West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke admits the proper execution of Gareth McAuley and his other central defenders have been left by Jonas Olsson frustrated. Craig Dawson has spent the past 90 days on mortgage at Bolton, while Gabriel Tamas has been a substitute for much of in 2013, mainly due to the consistency of the Olsson-McAuley alliance. Clarke said: aCraig is right back at the conclusion of the month when his 90 days or so are completed. aHe will be available for selection and will be back. aGabi Tamas has been working really well in teaching and any time Iave asked him to perform heas been exceptional. But the form of both centre-backs, Olsson and McAuley, has been top again. You look at the way we guard and theyare a vital part of that. aFor anyone to try to disrupt that collaboration it will be difficult.a Speaking about McAuley, Clarke added: aAlmost a good contribution have been made by everyone but when youare searching for consistency then Gareth is just a stand-out for me. aHeas an individual who looks after himself well. He looks well, he eats well, he hasnat got a of fat on him. He works hard everyday in training. He trains the way he plays at 100 %. aHeas probably trained90 % of the times this year, that is great for just about any player.a
