CM Punk won a Fatal 4-Way fit the other day and sealed his fate as Undertakeras 21st WrestleMania opponent. This wasnat a surprise to many after he dropped the WWE Championship to The Rock and John Cena won the Royal Rumble match. There was lots of speculation as to who Undertaker would face if and when he returned. Some of the titles tossed out there were Sting, Triple H and Brock Lesnar. Given that the dirt is settled, Punk is not the best choice to face Undertaker as of this yearas WrestleMania. Punk hasnat had the most effective of luck in 2013. The WWE title was lost by him at the Royal Rumble. He didn't recapture it at Elimination Chamber. His title shot is then put by cena on the line against Punk in a of the Year challenger on the Feb. 25 version of Raw, but was lost. His first match was won by him in the Fatal 4-Way, but Punk has lost plenty of energy from late 2011 to 2012. Added to that is the actual fact Punk dropped at the first two pay-per-view suits of the year. It seems unlikely he may get at WrestleMania, building it three pay-per-view failures in a line. A lot will be taken by it to get Punk back once again to where he was just a year before. Undertaker versus. CM Punk at Hell in a Cell 2009. Than he was back 2009 when both of these were feuding over the World Heavyweight Championship punk is perhaps better now. Undertaker returned at the conclusion of SummerSlam after Punk beat Jeff Hardy for the title. Then they continued to handle off at Breaking Point, Hell in a and Bragging Rights. Punk was defeated by undertaker at Hell in a Cell to get the title. Punk had his rematch at Bragging Rights in a Fatal 4-Way also featuring Rey Mysterio and Batista, but failed. Quickly forward two-and-a-half years later and Punk is among the most useful in operation. Heas great on the mic, known for his patented apipe bombs.a The character of The Undertaker limits him on the mic. It is a feud that wonat have plenty of verbal interaction, anything Punk excels at. Punk might be able to offer the feud with his talking, but Undertaker will need to refute whatever Punkas statements are over the next three-and-a-half weeks. Punk should be able to build up the feud together with his phrases, but what does he get out of this? There is currently no spine to this feud. There is demonstrably no name on the line, but there's been no reference to the concept "respect," Punk learning to be a story with a win or anything along those lines. A promo is just cut by punk last week saying he will beat the streak to be ended by The Undertaker. This resulted in three other A-listers coming out and about saying the same thing. Punk needs to say why he wants to end the streak, what it'll mean to his job and him. In 2009, Punk was success, but he wasnat the quality of Superstar he is now. Heas shown himself with his 400-plus-day reign as WWE success. Undertakeras last two opponents, Shawn Michaels and Triple H, had much success and wanted to put an additional feather in their caps. A number of Punk's funniest and best times. Punk has already been a recognised star. He doesnat have much to gain from adding a good fight and dropping like a star like a Ryback or Sheamus might. Those two still have lots of their careers left in order to clean away losing. Punkas personality could endure a lot from still another pay-per-view loss. On the other side, Undertaker is also using whatever fuel he's left in the tank to manage a Superstar like The Rock or Chris Jericho, two men he has feuded with but not at the biggest event of the entire year, for a dream match. That feud also suggests the questiona'where does CM Punk after WrestleMania? Almost certainly, he will neglect to give Undertaker his first loss. Following the fit, Undertaker may once again have a long hiatus. There will be no opportunity for Punk to avenge his loss, until he challenges him again next year, accepting Undertaker will be balanced. Can CM Punk reignite his feud with Ryback? He canat feud with John Cena as he could still be feuding with The Rock, who's advertised for Extreme Rules (h/t WrestlingInc.com). Regardless, this would be considered a good match as long as Undertaker may keep up with Punk. Punk refuses to work down to the degree of his opponents, but needs his opponents to fit his fast pace; just question The Rock or John Cena. Their suits in '09 were good, primarily because Undertaker was in far better condition. Ultimately, Undertaker will remain undefeated. The lights will venture out and a big a21-0a will present on the big screen and CM Punk will be yet another victim to "The Streak."
