It's hard to think of a worse way to start an NBA period than how these Washington Wizards did: small and slow. Taken off the picture were two of Washington's greatest purchases in recent history. David Wall, the very first overall pick this season, started the season rehabbing a non-traumatic strain injury in his knee. Joining him on the sideline was Nene, a 2012 trade deadline coup, recovering from a troublesome struggle withAplantar fasciitis in his left foot.
