Two Premier League matches are in store today ahead of the FA Cup semi-final later today between Chelsea and Manchester City. Early risers will be able to get the Tyne-Wear derby between Newcastle United and Sunderland, which kicks off (ideally on the frequency, that is, maybe not in the stands) at 7am ET on ESPN Deportes and WatchESPN. Paolo Di Canio takes charge of his 2nd Sunderland match as manager. Heas trying to find his first win in the hardest of matches against Sunderlandas fiercest opponents. Nevertheless, Newcastle United participants can be a bit tired after Thursday nightas combination loss to Benfica. Plus, Sunderland are staring down at relegation, therefore a spot or anything more are important. That fit is followed closely by Stoke City against Manchester United at 9am ET on FOX Soccer. Stoke City is another team in desperation. Theyare just three items above relegation, and a loss is on the cards against a United side storming to a Premier League title. That one will be a huge test for the Potters and a' most of all a' for boss Tony Pulis who's under enormous pressure to help keep his side up. Join the discussions in the remarks section below before, during or following the fit. Have an excellent Sunday!
