The Denver Broncos are apparently making a work at frequent pass-rushers Dwight Freeney and John Abraham. This information comes soon after the Broncos attemptedto recreate Elvis Dumervil, but an unusual trip, as NFL.com's ChrisAWesseling reported, led Dumervil to inking with the Baltimore Ravens. This is not a thing the Broncos were unprepared for. As NFL.com's Kareem Copeland described, the Broncos had both Freeney and Abraham set for a call the 2009 Thursday as a backup plan should Dumervil perhaps not return. The Denver Post's Henry KlisAtweeted that Freeney was the Broncos "first choice." This concept is supported by this twitter by the NFL Network's Michelle Beisner: Both Freeney and Abraham are extremely effective experts. Freeney, 33, has spent all 11 of his NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. He's 107.5 job sacks, including 13.5 over the last two conditions. A year ago, with the Colts converting to the 3-4, sacks were totaled five by Freeney in 14 games. Meanwhile, Abraham is older at 34, but he has already been more productive. In each of his last three times, all with the Atlanta Falcons, Abraham has played at least 15 activities while tallying at least 9.5 bags. He is also coming from a 10-sack period by which he also forced six fumbles. For this next season, both these players look to have sufficient left in the container to greatly help fill the gap created by Dumervil's starting, and with 37-year-old legend Peyton Manning at the helm, the Broncos need certainly to place all their initiatives into winning this next season.
